We are learning that Basic Punctuation means that you have a capital letter at the start of a sentence, and a full stop, question mark or exclamation mark at the end of every sentence when you do a piece of writing. I wrote about caterpillars.

  1. You have some good ideas about caterpillars and some not so good ideas. We can talk about the not so good ideas in class. Lines 3 and 7 of your acrostic poem are complete sentences so they should have a capital letter at the end. You have a capital letter at the start of each of your lines which is how acrostic poems are structured so that is good. You have a few other mistakes in grammar and spelling. Remember, when you publish a piece of writing, there should be no mistakes at all.
